Tempranillo

There’s some kind of blizzard going on in DC. No worries because I’ve got a glass…or two…of wine to keep me warm. Today I am drinking Tempranillo. It’s a type of black grape varietal from Spain. Spaniards refer to it as their Noble Grape. Tempranillo translates to “early” in Spanish; quite fitting since this grape ripens earlier than other Spanish red grapes, and it can be consumed young. Just a little wine trivia…Now, if only I could get my hands on some cheese…
